Whilst LittleMole is clearly an example of the fabled British skin I have to tell you that the preponderance of tanning salons and ill-advisedly un-sun-screened jaunts to Spain and Turkey mean that it is mostly a thing of the past here in the UK

Seriously.

I can't believe how many women in there 30s and early 40s look haggard and with the skin of a 50-year old NZer (ozone hole and all).

And PHC, praise be to growing up in the 80s when:
1. Sunbeds were virtually non-existent and
2. I was a bit of a goth, so went for the 'close-to-death' pale look anyway!
